Through the Wire…
Through the Wire is a single level design in which I implemented things like item collection, enemy (AI) pathing, target practice, exploding road blocks, and a vehicle jump with a cinematic element tied to it. Two houses were created from scratch using brushes, custom materials, & custom textures in UDK3. The exploding roadblock was made using Kismet, which included multiple particle effects (there’s a picture below showing that particular sequence). The item collection was also scripted through Kismet, which included custom item highlighting so that the player could easily tell that they were items of interest as they drew nearer.
